• Take Exit 1 on the A1(M) and join the A59 west
• Merge with the A658, which runs to the airport on Whitehouse Lane
• From Harrogate, take the A61 south and turn right onto the A658 south
• Continue south-west along the A658 to Whitehouse Lane for the airport

Directions to Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBA) from the south of the city:

• The M1 and M621 run to Leeds
• From the city, take the A65 north-west for Kendal
• Turn right onto the A658, just past the village of Rawdon, following signs for the airport
• Continue north-east on the A658 and turn right onto Whitehouse Lane for the airport

Directions to Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBA) from the east of the city:

• The M62 comes in from the east towards Leeds
• Take the M1 north for one junction and then merge with the M621 towards the city
• Alternatively, if you are coming from Leeds, take the M1 south before merging with the M621

Directions to Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBA) from the west of the city:

• From Blackburn, take the A6068, A6034, A65 and the A660 east
• At the A658 'T' junction, turn right and continue south-west for the airport
• Turn left onto Whitehouse Lane for the airport

All motorways around the Leeds and Bradford area become congested during the morning and evening rush hours. It is therefore advisable to allow for extra travel time when driving or taking a bus to the airport at these times. The various 'A' roads from Blackburn to Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBA) also become congested.
